The Sugar Mouse Cupcake House & Tea Shoppe

It's a good thing I do not live in Laramie as I would be tempted to stop in daily for one of their deliciousl cupcakes! We couldn't decide on flavors, so picked 6 and enjoyed each one!
The atmosphere is charming and cozy and invites a person to curl up with a cuppa, a good book and a cupcake.
We will return!!

This charming spot is perfect for enjoying a meal, dessert, or hosting a delightful tea party. It caters to both adults and children.

It only offers a limited but delicious selection of vegan options. The cozy ambiance includes comfortable couches by a fireplace, providing a relaxing setting to enjoy your treats.

The staff members are exceptionally friendly and attentive. When traveling westward, make sure to include this place on your list of must-visit destinations.

The Sugar Mouse Cupcake House is a super cute restaurant/bakery in downtown Laramie. The ambiance is delightful with soft pinks plastering the walls, rotating cupcake towers, and decorative mice hanging from the chandeliers & placed artfully on the desserts! Sugar Mouse also has a cute outdoor seating area at the front of the restaurant.

Unfortunately, the ambiance was the best thing about this experience (and there was one downside to the ambiance - the flooring throughout the restaurant was warped and definitely a tripping hazard). The service was nice but slow and they did not fulfill my order correctly. I asked for an iced tea but instead I received a plastic cup with tea so hot that it literally melted the lid of my cup.

The cupcakes were okay but nothing special by any means - they were prettier than they were actually tasty. Sugar Mouse had a large selection of desserts including over ten different cupcake options. It appeared they also had lunch options; however, we decided not to partake.

I'd recommend this place for the ambiance but not necessarily the food.

If you are ever in Laramie, you must come here. If you are ever looking for a great cupcake, you should consider making a trip here. If you are a site selector for Hallmark/UpTV/GAC, you absolutely must consider this store.

First, it's the cutest place I've ever been and it was not so twee that the men I was with didn't love it, too.

Second, the cupcakes are amazing. Like simply amazing.

Third, they offer GF and vegan in the same cuteness.

Fourth, why can't the owner live closer to me so this could be a regular place for me to patronize?

Supercute cupcake bakery and tea house, lovely decor! The service was friendly and they are busy! They do kid's birthday parties and celebrations. The variety of cupcakes was amazing including gluten free and vegan cupcakes. They decorate and dress up for holidays including Halloween. So check it out!

This place is hands down the cutest bakery I've ever seen. The cupcakes are huge and sooo delicious. I can't wait to try more flavors.

Such a dreamy little spot in downtown Laramie.

Decorated with no detail left unthought of! The cupcake flavors were truly imaginative and just as delicious.

Would be such a great place to have a little gathering.

Pro Tip: The kids table area is precious! Bring the kids!

Such a cute place, pictures don't do it justice. If you have young children this place is a dream come true. My inner princess was tweaking.

Passing through Laramie, the girl who waited on us was super welcoming.

We tried the lemon poppyseed, German chocolate, & strawberry cheesecake. All amazing.

Also tried the suntan coconut seasonal drink they had - I'm not a fan of coconut but my boyfriend really enjoyed it.

Overall, this place is pretty much hitting the nail on the head with the "pretty and pink" vibe. It's very cutesy and looks like something you might see in a Disney princess movie without the princess.

The cupcakes look to be baked in house, and the gluten free are most likely frozen and thawed as to avoid contamination or needing to deep clean equipment in between batches. Having the gluten free is a really great option, but not near as fresh as the others.

Service was good, just looked like some college students and they actually looked happy at work which is a nice change from the typical stop-in and go type places.

Had to drop a star because we got a special surprise from one of the bakers. Accidents happen and the girl at the counter was very understanding with our refund request.

It's not a shop you'll find most places you go so I'd say it's worth a stop in if you're visiting.
