About the Business
Seeing a need for a quality product, Gill Window Company was started in 1988 by Nick, Mike & Kevin Gill. Back then, they bought their windows from Denver and only did the installation, but soon realized they wanted a better product for their customers. With the help of an Economic Development Loan, they started manufacturing their own windows in a little 3, 000 sq. ft. shop and soon developed a reputation for having the best window products in Wyoming. Today customers drive in from all over Wyoming, Colorado & Nebraska to buy windows from Gill. Over the years, Gill Window has had the opportunities to become a mass producer like Pella & Andersen, but chose to stay small because "We'd rather make a few good windows. They are an investment and we want to give our customers the best product & service there is..." We are also licensed, insured, bonded, and a member of the Cheyenne & Laramie Chamber of Commerce. Today Gill Window now has a 20, 000 sq. ft manufacturing facility with a crew o

We had all 12 of our upstairs windows replaced with Gill Windows. Then a couple years later had the main entry door, the rear entry door and two storm doors replaced by Gill. If I could give these guys a 10 star rating it would be low. We had a bay window built by Gill windows and totally replaced as well. About two years after the window replacements, and because I'm admittedly not the sharpest knife in the drawer, we didn't have the closure mechanism properly closed on one of our larger windows on the side of the house that catches the most wind. Well, I called Joy, Dwayne comes out and within two minutes very politely showed me the problem and then wouldn't take a service call payment. Every single person I dealt with at The Gill Window Company simply rocks. Forgot to mention we live east of town on Windbreak Road. Seriously. The wind blows constantly. The windows are great. And yes, it really helped with our energy costs as well. A tried and true local company that is an example of trade locally. Try to get a Denver company back up here to service your product. Have been and will continue to recommend The Gill Window Company.

If there's a better window company around I'd be surprised. Duane and his crew installed windows at my house and I couldn't be happier. From Joy the receptionist, to Chuck and of course Duane and his crew of efficient, hard working professional and excellent customer service staff were terrific. I will recommend them to everybody I can. It was a pleasure doing business with them. They are true craftsmen!

Very good windows. Have operated properly for many years. I have never regretted our purchase of installing Gill windows in every room, including basement windows. Friendly and professional personnel.

I had Gill windows installed at my house the better part of 15 years ago. It was a good experience and I've never had a complaint about the process or the product. This week the lock on the patio door broke, so I called them to fix it. The guy arrived exactly on time and fixed the lock quickly. Then he refused payment!! What company do you know that will repair for free 15 years after purchase?? A quality company...
