BestMed Urgent Care

I am only giving two stars because the people were nice. I went to get a Covid-19 test and had a pretty good experience overall. My issue is that the office charged my insurance $306 for the visit and test...only to LOSE THE TEST. I didn't get results and had to find another place to get another test. Now, weeks later I get a co-pay charge? It seems ridiculous to still bill me for services that they did not complete. Should I really be charged? It seems to me just another hospital taking advantage of the system. And who knows how many times these tests go "missing"?

UPDATE: The office called me today to let me know that they were no longer billing me for this. I'm sure that my review had a lot to do with their quick response. But at least they did the right thing, so I am going to readjust my original views about the clinic.

I was in town from NC visiting my sister in law when I got sick. Went to see them at BeatMed and they were great. Of course they know medicine, that's a given. But it was the patient care that was amazing. Warm, friendly, and explained all options. I really thought they weren't just trying to make me feel better, they were making sure they found a cure to my symptoms. Plus, they play the best music of any medical facility I've ever been. Thanks BestMed Laramie.

I don't understand the negative reviews. I can see they're from awhile back, so maybe things have changed. If so, for the better. I had a terrific experience here. Very kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I even needed a recommendation for an oral surgeon and was given one. And I am in a health share organization and not traditional insurance, so thought that might be a hassle, but it wasn't. I will go here again when needed.

I've had a great experience both times that I have visited the Laramie location. Chris (X-Ray) and Courtney (PA) were great while caring for my 2yr old's injured hand.

Don't go here. If I could give this place less than no stars, I would. I had what turned out to be sepsis and they sent me home with anti-nausea medication. Not surprising, the next day I collapsed and had to be ambulanced to the hospital where they said my body was shutting down. Thankfully the hospital actually took care of me. When I was finally discharged, I was told to get a follow up test by a normal doctor to make sure my antibiotics were working properly. When my husband called Stitches to see if they would be able to do that, he was told "they really didn't think I needed to be tested." Never go here, EVER!

Horrible communication, staff was very short and disrespectful, like they resented me even being there. Horrible wait times, especially when your already not feeling well. Just an all around bad experience.

I really appreciate all of the staff every time my family experiences the next children's escapades and illnesses. Highly recommended!

The front desk personnel are very helpful and friendly. I have been here twice and never had to wait more that 20 minutes! The providers that I saw were personable and responsive, and I was happy with the care that I received. Would definitely recommend!

Horrible service! The front desk personnel are rude and pushy. The doctors are likewise rude and care more about getting rid of you than treating you. Seems like all they care about is getting money for the outlandish charges you will accrue for a 10 minute visit. Not only was I aghast at the service, but so has everyone I know. Better off going to the ER.

They were incredibly rude to me and my mother. Not only did they refuse our check (which is a stupid policy) but they refused service all together due to the simple fact that my mother didnt have an id. She has never had an id because she hasnt driven in her life. When we asked for the manager, the lady at the desk was incredibly rude about it. never again. avoid this place at all cost. the er is cheaper.
