At Elevation Pet Resort, we believe that pet care can and should be enjoyable to the pet! Elevation Pet Resort is an enrichment-based dog care facility where we focus on fostering the mental and physical well-being of the pets in our care. We (owners, Kelly, a certified veterinary technician, and Dr. Jacque) have over 40 years combined experience working in boarding kennels and veterinary clinics. For the past 12 years, we have been dreaming of bringing Laramie high quality pet care that stimulates the minds and bodies of our four-legged friends using positive and fun enrichment activities and pet friendly accommodations. Elevation Dog Daycare and Pet Resort is the realization of that dream!
How we are different.
Our entire business is built around improving the experience of our campers and their owners. The safety of your pets and a positive experience for them are our top priorities. Every member of our staff undergoes extensive training in safety protocols and dog behavior and wellness. We use our knowledge of dog behavior and body language to help us recommend a custom experience that your pet truly enjoys, whether it be daycare or overnight boarding. We want to make the customer experience better too. Utilize our reservation app, Paw Partner, to request reservations with the click of a button, fill out forms for faster check ins and outs, and get daily updates from our staff.
We love pets and our planet. We strive to be an environmentally conscious company. Our Paw Partner app allows us and you the option to ‘go paperless’. We use Kleanbowls for feeding and watering. These bowls, made from renewable sugar cane fiber, reduce the spread of disease, decrease our water and energy usage, and pets love using them. We also use and sell Pooch Paper, a compostable alternative to plastic dog waste bags. Finally, check out our selection of eco-friendly, enrichment-based treats, toys, and pet care products to help make pet ownership more fun and rewarding.
Our Services
Dog Daycare (Day Camp or Day Retreat)
Day Camp consists of a fun, safe, stimulating, off leash experience for your dog during the day. This way your dog can have a fun and productive day and go home ready to hang out with you! Dogs are separated into different play groups by size and play style. Staff (counselors) are with the groups constantly to ensure dogs interact appropriately. Before attending daycare, you dog will undergo an evaluation process to make sure daycare is an appropriate form of enrichment and that is enjoyable for them.
Day Retreat is available for dogs that don’t enjoy the company of other dogs. Day Retreat service starts with individual accommodations for the day and a 15 min nature hike (or combination of nature hike, play and/or cuddling with a counselor). Other enrichment activities can be personalized to your pet’s preferences and can include extra treats/enrichment toys (like stuffed Kongs).
Overnight Boarding
Need to leave your dog for overnight care? Rest assured they will be comfortable in our lodging suites that feature a home-like atmosphere and glass doors, no wire kennels here! Each stay includes cozy cots and fleece blanket for sleeping, soft natural lighting and kennels of a variety of sizes: Pup Tents, Cabins, and Lodges. You can also sign up your dog for daycare during his or her stay. If your dog prefers more individualized attention, you may select activities such as extra individual play/walks, treats/enrichment toys, or reading and snuggle time before bed! Lodging attendants are on site during business hours to make sure your pet is clean and comfortable.
