I didn't know what to expect given the mixed reviews on Yelp, but I personally enjoyed my experience at Wyoming's Rib and Chop House.
We came on a weekday for dinner and it was surprisingly crowded. Thankfully, our group had reservations and we were able to be seated right away.
We started our meal with a few appetizers including the Crabmeat Stuffed Mushrooms ($16.95), Fried Green Tomatoes ($17.95), and the Spinach Dip ($13.95) and continued on with their 6 ounce Famous Filet ($29.95) which came with two sides, and ended the meal with some Creme Brulee ($9.95), Ice Cream Brownie Sundae ($9.95), and a Mountain High Mocha Ice Cream Cake ($9.95).
The Fried Green Tomatoes were delicious and definitely my favorite dish of the night! I also really enjoyed the side of carrot soufflé which tasted like candied sweet potatoes but with carrots instead. The only dish I would pass on was the Ice Cream Brownie Sundae as the brownie was really tough and almost tasted stale in nature.
Service was friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Wyoming's Rib and Chop House.Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 3Oh no 0 - Greg S.Oklahoma City, OK071May 17, 2024
Service was great but the food was not! Had to cook my steak twice. Second time wasn't any better. So my dogs got to eat a $40 steak. Do not recommend this place.

Got here early for dinner on a Tuesday. Glad we did--they got crowded really quickly! We both had the fried shrimp with a salad. Shrimp are large with just a hint of Cajun spice in the batter. Both got dessert. He got apple cobbler and I had the Meltaway. It was scrumptious!
Tristan was our server and he was awesome. Checked on us frequently and kept our water glasses filled.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - Barbara H.Two Rivers, WI01May 13, 2024
Service ok at best. Half of our table received their food and was finishing up as the second half got theirs. By food was bare warm when I received it.

Just alright, wasn't impressed. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. If there was crab in it, I'll be surprised. One of us thought they were spicy. The salad was from a bag and it was old. There were brown pieces in it. The "homemade" bleu cheese dressing was bland. I had the BBQ Shrimp over mashed potatoes that was very good. My husband had the BBQ ribs. They had a good flavor but were rather tough. The other couple both had steaks and they didn't care for them.
What was strange, is the sides were placed on separate plates from the entree. Made for a lot of plates.
Rob, our server in training, was very friendly and helpful.
There weren't many options open in Laramie on a Tuesday.
Would we eat there again? Maybe....Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kimberly M.Odessa, MO41Mar 13, 2024
The steak was awesome. The kids meals are served in a very cute cardboard car. The wait staff were all so nice. We all had a delicious meal and a great time. Thank you Wyoming!

I walked in and several waiters walked by, looked at me, or passed by. They weren't at all busy either. Disappointment...after about 10 minutes someone came up to me and asked if I'd been helped yet.
I'm pretty laid back with some things, and that day I was super chill. Most times I would have walked out by then.
I was seated and the wait staff AGAIN ignored me for a few more minutes. The bartender walked by me 3 times during my stay and never once said hello or even smile. She was apparently having a shitty day.
Finally my waiter showed up. She had walked by me 2 minutes prior and didn't even acknowledge me. She had menus in her hand and just walked by?!? She should have stopped, said hello, left a menu, and told me she be with me in a minute.
She was much better when she came back.
I ordered the salmon and squash, plus the crab&shrimp andoli soup that came with. The food was very good.
I would go back again. Everyone has off days. I've been in the food industry for 30 years, I know how it goes.
NO MATTER HOW BUSY YOU ARE (OR NOT, as in this case) GREET THE CUSTOMER FOR CRIPES SAKE... ACKNOWLEDGE THEM!!
It will hold a lot of clout with them if you're busy or not.
Or for heavens sake at least smile!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Sep 30, 2022
It was my Birthday and I want to eat a good meal. I am from Louisiana and many people suggest this restaurant.
I was impressed, this restaurant's full bar had some talented mixologist. The Moscow mule cocktails were refreshing.
The appetizers are divine. Frist the boudin balls reminds me of home. Then the fried shrimp put a smile on my face, A+. But nothing topped the stuffed mushroom YUMMY!
To the chefs here I wanted to say thank you. Two of three of our entrées were exquisite. There are always pros and cons to any restaurant. The filet mignon was tender, Chicken Fried Chicken was juicy, carrot souffle was perfect and large load potato was very delicious. The side salads with the house made blue cheese was on point.
Now to the Grill/Rib chef. I was disappointing on how dry and inedible my full rack of ribs were. The sauce that saturated to top was tasty. I should have mentioned to the waiter to take it back and trash those burnt ribs. It was too bad because I normally really love ribs.
The dessert chef what a grand job! I loved the souffle it was simple and perfect dish. The top crust was heavenly.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0
