Im from Atlanta and wings are a necessity to life there. Im usually skeptical about ordering wings at other places. But i took the chance. Wings are 9/10! Amazing!

I love this place! I often stop for lunch when I'm working in Laramie and today was no exception. I had the Chicken Caprese sandwich and it was cooked perfectly. The Tart Cherry beer on tap NEVER disappoints either. They also play host to the Laramie Cowboy Mafia Weekend every September when dozens of Buffalo Bills fan descend upon Laramie for a weekend of food, fun, and maybe a few drinks along the way!

Ordered takeout tonight, a couple different burgers, a Philly cheesesteak and frickles .
The fire on the mountain burger is a family favorite, with brussel sprouts on the side. , . Plenty of food, such a portion, I can't imagine anyone feeling hungry after eating that. For anyone wondering, the flavors here are phenomenal together. Always an outstanding meal. Not overly spicy, usually. Once, I had to strip the jalapeños off. Definitely not for those of us watching our cholesterol, but a couple times a year is a nice treat. (I really should have stuck with this tonight, I won't switch it up again!!)
The Ferg, with a cup of chicken noodle soup. I'm under the impression that neither of these was entirely great. More than half I spotted in the trash. All I could get was I didn't like it out of the eater of this meal.
Myself on the other hand, I about gagged when I opened the container for my philly cheesesteak!! I thought to myself, I really hope it tastes better than it smells!! (because we all know cheese can smell kinda horrible sometimes, yet taste pretty darn good!!)
Well, this was not one of those situations, the rotten cheese ruined the entire sandwich. It was either spoiled, or someone thought trading provolone for some awful sour cheese was a bright idea and would go unnoticed. Or, they're training someone new who made an honest mistake as we all do.
I took one bite, and it took all I could to not to spit it out. Took a second bite, to make sure I wasn't being ridiculous and weird.
Definitely a surprise that the cheese on my cheesesteak is definitely is not okay, it's spoiled. (It sucks when it happens, especially if you've already put it on everything, but it happens)
Or, maybe and if this is what the library thinks this is what provolone cheese is supposed to taste like. Which, if that is the case, something is very wrong.
After my second bite, I called to let them know the provolone used on my philly was spoiled and they should probably avoid using it. That my son just picked up our order. He just brought it in, we all grabbed ours and just took a couple bites. Decided to let you know so you don't get more calls like this tonight.
The girl who answered asked if I got food poisoning. Nope, I just took the bites I told her. (I've gotten food poisoning before, never within five minutes of my first bite)
The girl said well I'm sorry you didn't let us know about this before leaving the restaurant with the food, I would've refunded you.
Oh?? Okay, I'll be more than happy to open and taste a bite of everything when you hand it to me the next time I order food from the library. I'll set containers up along the bar... thus ought to be fun!!
(Wait, what?! Is now going through my mind !!)
Did I just understand that she's not sorry my dinner is coated in rotten cheese? The cheese smell that about wiped a couple of us on our butts when I popped the lid on my container. That she's not sorry someone made a mistake?
She's sorry nobody caught a whiff of the rotten cheese from a closed container that's wrapped in a bag from the restaurant she represents, before leaving with it. Because we can sell you rotten tainted food and if you're stupid enough to leave these grounds before realizing this, then that's on you bro! aka me
Ummm, no, it's not okay. Not at all okay!!!
I didn't call and demand a refund. Nor did I insist they remake the sandwich without rotten cheese. I simply wanted to offer a heads up as that's the right thing to do, right?
Well apparently not. Unless this girl already knew the chess topping all sorts of orders was bad, maybe I wasn't the first person to call about this issue.
It's the restaurants responsibility to offer an apology for serving disgusting inedible food. Disgusting inedible food. It's in my fridge if that want to swap it out with something that's not going to make me sick, so they can know for sure I'm not one of those people who are like there's a hair in my food. Omg I'm never paying for anything again or worse. I'm oddly irritated and seriously upset about this experience tonight. And for what they're charging for stuff, they have a responsibility. Shoot, McDonald's would be like okay we'll make you another. But that's when they forget half your order and you don't discover this until you get home.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Randy F.Seattle, WA46027Oct 25, 2022
Stopped in relatively late on a Sunday night on our way through to Denver. Wanted to hit a local brewpub, if possible and this looked good. Seems like it would be a fun place to catch a game.
All the beers we had were good to great. Definitely recommend if you're going for a pint or a flight.
The fried mac 'n' cheese bites were the best thing we ordered and were a surprise hit. Ranch as a dipping sauce seemed like an odd choice, but is easy enough to just skip, and the bites themselves don't really need a sauce.
The cheesesteak and the au jus it comes with were tasty. Unusual combo, but it hit the spot!
The 'fries' belong on a 'worst-ever potato concept' list. They're not thick enough to have the heartiness of a jojo and not fried well enough to be a serviceable French fry, while also being flavorless and mushy...they were a huge dud for both of us.
My friend's burger was reportedly fine with the exception of the actual patty being flavorless and dry.
All in all, even allowing for college-town-pub-during-off-peak-hours expectations, fried potatoes and burger patties are two pretty key constituents on a bar food menu to not get right.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 21, 2022
The Library Sports Grill and Brewery used to be right across the street from the University of Wyoming in a really cool space for many years but since then it's relocated to downtown Laramie. I don't like this space as much. It just didn't have the character the previous one did but now you can do mini pub crawls pretty easily here now as all the other breweries that Laramie has are just around the block or a few blocks away so that is an added perk.
It's been a while since I had a beer from here but it was solid with me getting started for an update and refresher.
I got the Devil's Tower Honey Ale which was pretty solid. Sweet, smooth, malty and of course honey aspects were the main features I picked up from this beer.
Quite a few other beer styles The Library makes. Not sure how often they may rotate out for new ones or seasonal ones because if memory serves I remember the honey ale from some time ago.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - JR S.Missoula, MT01015Nov 16, 2023
Been here before and had beer and fried pickles, not great but OK. Decided to try a burger with a friend. Service was quick in and quick leave style, very fakey and short without any measure of real consideration.
Ordered the Cowboy burger with tots, the other person ordered the Hole in one with lots of fixings. They must of made the Cowboy fist and let it sit , it was barely warm, the tots were almost cold. Burger was dry and tasteless, tots ok, but almost cold. The Hole in One burger was warm and good according to the eater, tots were cold though.
Does not take a rocket scientist to get food out hot and staged correctly.
When she brought the food and did the drop off, then immediately ran away to talk with her bar buddies, it was not possible to flag her down to say WTF after the first bite. Never seen someone so intent on avoiding looking our way after serving food like that. Her friends at the bar were the priority and being a server the last priority.
She came back after 10 min or so, I tried to wave her down before that, but she never looked our way. She asked if everything was OK, while my mouth was full. I could not answer even when I swallowed quickly, because she ran off to re- engage with her friends instead of waiting for me to be able to talk. It was like she knew the food was cold ( likely sitting on the out shelf) and avoiding the issue that it was her fault or a crappy line cooks inability to know what order to cook the food in. Cold fries or tots is a travesty and a testament to the lack of quality control. Waste of money for these burgers and also, the beer was flat. The Library is not a repeat for me.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Renee B.Riverside, CA1954428Sep 4, 2023
The food and drinks were great and the service was even better!! We got the frickles which were AMAZING. The chicken bacon avocado and catcher in the rye sandwiches were so good.

Good Food, Friendly staff and a fun environment. Can be a little pricey and gets busy and loud but that's expected of a bar and grill
