This is usually a great place to stay and my first choice when I'm in Laramie...but...today was not good at all. I do a lot of work in my room at night and early in the morning and having working Wi-Fi is essential. The Wi-Fi was down all day - not good. I realize that this may be a one-off, but it's huge for me, because I can't do any work. The front desk associate was very nice and I realize it's not in their control.
Oh, one last thing...no regular coffee pods in the room, only decaf (and some tea). Ugh!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 27, 2014Previous reviewBest place to stay while in Laramie, especially if you are here for an event at UWyo. Great breakfast in the morning, too (not free, but worth it).

Located across the street from the stadium and near several walking convenient restaurants, the Hilton seems to be ideally located in Laramie. My wife and I spent the night here while passing through on our trip West. Checkin was convenient and we didn't have to even show ID or a credit card to get the keys to our room. The front desk clerk could have been friendly though.
Our room on the top floor was large and had everything we needed including a hair dryer, iron, fluffy towels, shower cap (wife's go to item) and a comfy chair in the corner. The walls were a little thin and we could occasionally hear our neighbor walking around. The AC was powerful but must have had an occupancy sensor as we both woke up in the middle of the night warm and had to kick the covers off.
Depending on your room rate, there is a hot breakfast available in the huge lobby for $11.95 a person or included. It is a mix of a buffet for fruit, toast and drinks and an ordering station for eggs, meats and other cooked to order dishes. Apart from the oatmeal, everything was fine. I particularly enjoyed their floppy bacon. Not sure what happened with the oatmeal but it looked more like a bowl of rice.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elisabeth H.Georgetown, TX19335Mar 27, 2023
Best hotel in Laramie. Super quiet- highly recommend the 3rd floor corner suites. Tons of room and never heard a noise. Friendly staff, close to Walmart and UW. We stay here every time we visit our kid!

What a great hotel with great employees. From the managers down to the regular employees, they all have great attitudes, are always helpful, and want to do their best to make your stay a pleasant one.
The hotel is nice inside with a dining area, seating area, and small market. Of course, the hotel practices social distance and follows other Covid-19 safeguards. Masks are required at all times when on property.
This hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and shops. There's a car dealership across the street and on days that I was too tired to drive anywhere for a meal, I found so many cool places to eat in the neighboring parking lot within walking distance.
I had a standard room and it was clean and modern-looking. I had no complaints about it. Due to Covid, they don't offer daily housekeeping. If you want service, you have to request it.
There is a restaurant inside the hotel and it serves breakfast and dinner. Everything is cook-to-order now due to Covid of course. I like to get the omelettes. They were very tasty and the hash browns were crispy and not soggy like some restaurants. Dinner here is really, really good. I had dinner 3 times this week because of the snowy weather. I ordered the steak on one night, and the shrimp pasta twice. If you happen to be here during the week that they serve beef minestrone soup, do yourself a favor and order it. OMG, it was so yummy. The Creme brûlée and flourless chocolate cake were awesome. If you are in town, stay here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 342261230May 24, 2020
We had a family emergency and had to drive from WA to Colorado. With the Corona Virus ever present, we weren't sure what to expect when we arrived. The staff...5-star. Super friendly, informative, and efficient. The room was impeccably clean. We ordered room service for dinner since there weren't many dining choices open nearby with delivery options. They waived the standard room service fee and service charge so we were only charged the published menu prices plus the optional gratuity. Our order was delivered within 20 minutes and was hot and delicious. We were impressed with our overall experience.
Bonus: The hotel is next to the University of Wyoming's campus with several rooms overlooking the stadium. This is a fantastic location to book when games are back up and running!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John E.Ewa Beach, HI090Oct 18, 2022
Nice enough hotel. I flew in to Laramie from Honolulu. I got in early in the morning. Just here for a few days. But they let me check in early. The staff was very nice. The rooms were clean the hotel was clean. Nice little breakfast in the morning if you're hungry. It's in a good location. You can walk to a lot of restaurants. Very nice place.

I stopped here overnight. They are safe and kind. Breakfast was hot and tasty i had 2 x the eggs so fluffy. They will help you keep up on weather alerts and are supportive of your frustrations. This week best in staff there in Wyoming. Yes stay here, so worth it clean and quiet too. Well quiet with roads closed anyway!
