  • 🤠 Say hello to Joe Evers, a 2013 UW grad who’s making waves in the energy industry. Joe’s unique blend of finance, environmental studies, and law has led him to his current role as General Counsel at American Rare Earths Limited. Joe’s story is a testament to the power of being an active member of the UW alumni community. The connections and mentorships he built during and after his time at UW have been instrumental in his career. Joe’s advice? “Don’t underestimate the power of connections you make, especially if you join the UW Alumni Association. There are successful UW alumni across the globe in every profession you can imagine, all you must do is ask. They will go above and beyond to help you.” Congrats to Joe for all his achievements and for highlighting the strength of our UW alumni community! 💛🤎 #UWyo #uwyoalumni #Wyoming #universityofwyoming

  • 🤠 Say hello to the UWAA's new Business Manager, Executive, Lindsey Moniz! Lindsey grew up on a ranch near Wright, WY, and earned her degree in Management from UW's College of Business. Lindsey loves cheering on the Cowboys and catching up with old friends, so naturally, Homecoming is her favorite time of year. When asked about her new role Lindsey said, “I look forward to being on the business side of UWAA and supporting our alumni in a whole new way. My focus will be strengthening our internal processes and making sure the UWAA continues to offer our alumni the best experiences possible.” Before stepping into her new role, Lindsey was the UWAA's Events Coordinator, where she planned and organized events such as our Steamboat Socials, the Brown and Gold Banquet, and Homecoming Week. Her exceptional attention to detail, knack for organization, and ability to streamline processes make Lindsey an invaluable part of our team and we are excited to see her apply those skills to her new position. Let's give Lindsey a warm UWAA welcome! Go Pokes! 🤎💛 #UWyo #uwyoalumni #Wyoming #universityofwyoming
