In honor of Arbor Day, Pete Lien & Sons hosted an event in collaboration with Black Hills Forest Service. Over 100 attendees from the community including Black Hills Area Council – Boy Scouts and Dakota Horizons- Girl Scout Troops, along with students from St. Elizabeth Seton Elementary School, helped plant 600 trees in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. It was a fun and fulfilling family event that promoted the essential need for mining in our everyday lives along with the value of mining reclamation. A shout out to Rathco for helping entertain us during this joyful event! #ArborDay
